Fabric Screen Printing

Went in early this morning with high hopes of printing and maybe even printing. Turns out, I did no printing. Only screen cleaning and some wacking on of the emulsion paint.
These are the stages I completed today:

Stage 1. Find screen for printing fabric- white meshed screen
Stage 3. Clean it, first with B Strip, then wash down. Then with B Solve and wash down
Stage 4. Dry it in the drying room
Stage 5. Do two thin layers of light sensitive emulsion paint on the screen making sure it is evenly applied.
Stage 6. Dry it in the drying cupboard away from bright lights
Stage 7. Expose your screen in the light box with your image square to the screen- earth it with the copper wire and expose for 170
Stage 8. Clean it immediately so no emulsion blocks your print where it shouldn't.
Stage 9. Dry it back in the drying room.

This was an A0 screen as I wanted to capture as much detail as I could. However, the screen was really difficult to lift and move by myself so I had to get help cleaning it and moving it to the drying room. Might just be the last time I attempt something this big by myself! Also, with its size- I had to take into account the cost of the material I would have to use. I could only really do one print with this screen and so had to be a good one :s
