Had to add grids to the bottom of the drawing as in the original photograph loads of people had their heads in the way. Used them to measure up each doorway so I didn't have to guess my way round it.
After a while my top drawings of the praying men got a little bit... special.
I used a Genius graphics tablet to draw this on Adobe Photoshop. I began by tracing in a hand drawn sketch of the building, then traced over it to get a better quality of line. I then used the original photograph under my drawing to trace over the shapes of the building and I free hand sketched all the statues and saints.
